Financial Training Courses

Beginning January 2013 the following courses will be available:

• Accounting setup – Grants
• Accounts Payable and Accounting Operations Training
• Endowment Training
• Financials Year-end Training
• GL Troubleshooting
• PeopleSoft Financials Advanced
• Reconciliation Training
• Reconciliation II Reports
• University Reports – PI Training
• University Reports – UBM Training

To help people select the correct courses, we recommend the following curriculum:

Basic/New UBM

• Accounting setup
• Accounting setup – Grants (if the UBM works with any grants)
• Reconciliation Traiing
• Accounts Payable and Accounting Operations Training

Advanced UBM (should complete Basic/New UBM curriculum first)

• Reconciliation II Reports
• PeopleSoft Financials Advanced
• GL Troubleshooting
• Financials Year-end Training

Additional Classes:

• UBMs who work with Endowments (Exxxx speedtypes) should attend Endowment Training.
• UBMs who are responsible for a department or unit should attend University Reports – UBM Training.
• Faculty and staff who are Principal Investigators (PI) on sponsored programs should attend University Reports – PI Training.

These classes are offered at various times throughout the year and users can retake classes at any time.  View current listing of classes and registration.
