Purpose of the Faculty Senate The University of Louisville Faculty Senate is responsible for eliciting and expressing the opinions, suggestions, and recommendations of the faculty on all matters of concern to the faculty as a whole. All faculty members are welcome to attend the general meetings of the Faculty Senate. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month except in August.
