About me

I am Professor of Philosophy and director of the Social Change Program, which is an interdisciplinary minor in the College of Arts & Sciences. Born & raised in Toronto, Canada, I completed my PhD in 2000 at the University of Arizona, Tucson, and my BA in 1995 at Brown University in Providence, RI. I also pursued non-degree undergraduate study at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1992) and the American University in Cairo (1994).

I am currently president of the UofL chapter of the American Association of University Professors.
