Community Forum

Health begins where we live, learn, work and play.

This forum will provide an opportunity for open dialogue about the social and environmental determinants of health that have been associated with illnesses such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and cancer. Don’t miss this opportunity to talk about the conditions in your neighborhood, school, home or workplace.

Local and national leaders will make opening remarks and answer questions. Panelists include representatives from: REACT (Rubbertown Emergency Action network), West Jefferson County Community Task Force, Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness, the University of Louisville and Dr. Linda Birnbaum, Director of National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).
