Request for Career Development Nominations
The Center for Environmental Genomics and Integrative Biology (CEGIB), a National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) Core Center, is seeking nominations for Career Development Awards which support the career development in the environmental health sciences of junior and mid-level faculty. This award provides support and career mentorship for individuals interested in establishing research programs aligned to the NIEHS and CEGIB. Nominations are solicited by June 6, 2011 and the packet provided from your offices should include:
1. Letter of nomination by Department Chair, Division Chief or Center/Institute Directors indicating the % work assignment for research and other support including percent effort required on current grants and contracts.
2. Current Curriculum vitae of nominee
3. Personal statement from nominee indicating career goals, brief statement of anticipated research projects, and training strengths. Include a discussion how the Career Development will integrate with the strengths of the Center.
4. Copies of grant applications
