What is Enrollment Management?
Enrollment management means influencing the institution's enrollment (size, quality, mix) from the point of initial student inquiry about the institution, to the point of graduation, placement in a position, or graduate school and includes alumni feedback and support (Rooney, Saffari, 1993).
Across the country, strategic enrollment management is seen as an institution-wide responsibility and is one of the central focuses of the institution's overall strategic plan. Just like overall strategic planning, strategic enrollment management starts with the institution's mission.
