Glassworks is a multi-use facility located in the heart if downtown Louisville dedicated to the art of glass; its magic, its mystery, its beauty. The facility is comprised of three working glass studios, two glass galleries, and a walk-in workshop.

Reception
In addition to dining, drinks and a jazz band, conference participants will have an opportunity to explore Glassworks' various galleries and gift shop. The Glassworks Gallery & Vonfire Gallery offer an extensive selection of pieces to please any art enthusiast. Collectible works by national and international artitists will be available for purusal and purchase. The reception will also include glassblowing demonstrations at the Glassworks Hot Glass Studio. The process begins with a roaring 2200 F degree furnace containing molten glass. The hot, honey-like glass is gathered and shaped by artisans, who utilize age old tools and techniques along with modern technology to transform the hot glass into a variety of works of art.
Transportation
Conference Buses
Buses will depart from the Louisville Marriott- Downtown and the Brown Hotel, starting at 6:15 pm and will begin taking conference participants back to the Hotels at 8:00 pm. The last bus from Glassworks will depart at 9:30 pm.
Jeff Jarfi has lived around the world: Morocco, Paris, New York and now Louisville. He speaks 5 languages and cooks with an international flair, bringing his global experiences to bear in his diverse cuisine.
