A day-long symposium of papers by leading scholars in rhetoric and composition on how best to articulate the work of rhetoric and composition in the 21st century in light of its complex and constantly evolving global-local contexts, commitments, and consequences: the theme of the 2010 Watson Rhetoric and Composition Conference.  Papers will address ways of working English that challenge dominant notions of writing in English and the teaching and learning of writing in English.

Sponsored by the Endowed Chair in Rhetoric and Composition and the Thomas R. Watson Conference.
