Featured poets, Carolyn Guinzio and Davis McCombs will provide a public reading in the downstairs atrium of the 21c Museum Hotel.
Carolyn Guinzio is author of the forthcoming '&' (Red Hen Press, 2012), chosen by Alice Quinn for the To The Lighthouse/A Room Of Her Own Poetry Prize, Quarry (Parlor Press, 2008), and
West Pullman (Bordighera, 2005), winner of the Bordighera Poetry Prize.
Davis McCombs is the author of 'Dismal Rock' (Tupelo Press, 2007), Winner of the 2005 Dorset Prize, chosen by Linda Gunderson. He is a Yale Younger Poets Award winner selected by W.S. Merwin, and he directs the Creative Writing Program at the University of Arkansas. McCombs has received awards from the Lily Poetry Foundation, the Kentucky Arts Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, supports Sarabande Books with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
