Driving Directions

Directions to the Humanities Building

The English Department is the third floor of the Bingham Humanities Building, Room 315.

The exits for the University of Louisville are directly off of I-65 North or South.
If coming from I-265 (Gene Snyder) or I-264 (Watterson Expressway), you will want to head North on I-65.
If coming from I-71 South or I-64 East or West, you will want to head south on I-65.

Directions, if coming from the North
Take I-65 South (Toward Nashville) to the Eastern Parkway exit.
At the end of the ramp, merge onto Arthur Street.
Turn right at the first traffic light onto Warnock Street.
At the McDonalds, turn right onto Floyd Street.
Continue past the light at the east entrance to the Parking Garage.
At the yellow flashing light, turn left into the Student Activities Center.
On your left, you will see the Visitor Parking entrance into the garage.
This area will be attended by a parking attendant who can assist you with directions to the Humanities Building.

Directions, if coming from the South
Take I-65 North (Toward Indianapolis) to the second Eastern Parkway exit (west 133B).
There is a stop sign at the end of the exit ramp.
Veer right, following the curve around to the traffic light at Eastern Parkway. Turn right.
Continue on Eastern Parkway to the second traffic light at Third Street. Turn Right.
Continue on Third Street to the third traffic light at Cardinal Boulevard. Turn right.
Continue on Cardinal Boulevard to the second traffic light.
Turn right onto Floyd Street.
At the yellow flashing light, turn right into the Student Activities Center.
On your left, you will see the Visitor Parking entrance into the garage.
This area will be attended by a parking attendant who can assist you with directions to the Humanities Building.
