Students who have earned less than 30 credit hours are required to be advised prior to registration.

During these required appointments, students will:

• Discuss current semester progress and adjustment to college life
• Review academic support services (link to http://louisville.edu/advising/students/support.html ) free to all students
• Discuss their choice of major and potential career opportunities
• Discuss potential concentrations and/or minors as they relate to the chosen major
• Discuss opportunities for engagement
• Review degree policies and procedures
• Review program sheets for general education and course requirements
• Discuss course selection and registration
