About This Conference

The University of Louisville's College of Education & Human Development is proud to host globally renowned scholar Dr. Thomas Guskey for this two-day conference on standards-based grading. The event will take place at Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky.

Registration Fee Information

This fee covers participation in the event, a signed copy of Dr. Guskey’s book on standards-based grading, and a certificate of attendance. While we will have light refreshment and snack services, this fee does not cover meals.

Cost per registrant: $235

Teams of six or more: $235 (per person) for first five, sixth registrant is free

When is this? July 15th to 16th, 2020. The event will run from 9am to 4pm on the 15th, and from 9am to 1pm on the 16th.

Where is this? The PNC Club at Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky. Travel and parking information will be shared prior to the event.

Who will be attending? In addition to Dr. Guskey, the audience will be comprised of primary and secondary school leaders from across Kentucky and the U.S.

Who is Dr. Thomas Guskey? He is a Senior Research Scholar in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Louisville and Professor Emeritus in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky. To learn more about him and his work, click here to visit his site.

What do I need to bring? Just yourself, your team, and an attitude ready for learning! We will provide all of the pens, paper, and coffee you need.

Refund Policy: Please email Frank Willoughby ( to change or cancel your registration. Cancellation before June 30th, 2020 is refundable, but is subject to a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations on or after July 1st, 2020 are not refundable. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual or group of the same size at no additional cost. In the event we must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, we will fully refund the registration fees.”
