The Commonwealth of Kentucky requires new superintendents to complete training and testing in the areas of School Law, Finance, Learning, Media and School Board-Superintendent Relations within one year of their appointment as a superintendent of schools. Nystrand Center has conducted the training and testing for all five modules required. The program, funded by a grant from the Kentucky Department of Education, includes a mentor superintendent initiative for the first year of the new superintendent’s experience.
