The Holmes Partnership
The University of Louisville has been active in the Holmes Partnership® since its inception. School partners with UofL include the Jefferson County Public Schools and the Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative.
The Holmes Partnership® is named in honor of Henry Wyman Holmes, the dean of the Harvard Graduate School of Education in the 1920's. Today, it is a consortium of universities, public school districts, teachers associations, and local as well as national organizations. It is a model of partnerships at work. Holmes partnerships serve as a major vehicle to reform teaching and learning whether in a public school or a higher education setting.
