New Center Director Dianna Zink
Dianna Zink, Director of the Early Learning Campus.
Dianna received a Master in Early Childhood from Eastern Michigan University. She lived in Michigan for 30 years and for 20 of those years, worked as Director for the Oxford Child Care and Early Childhood Center in the Oxford School District.
Dianna also worked, for a short time, as a principal for the Oxford district promoting and implementing the Model Schools program developed by Dr. Willard Dagget. For six years, as an Early Childhood Consultant, she developed the curriculum and taught Child Development Associate degree candidates in all areas of competency for certification through the National Association of Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Dianna Zink has a current Rank II Kentucky Teaching Certification. In addition, she has had experience supporting a center in Kentucky pursuing national accreditation with NAEYC.
She was born in Louisville and grew up in the Highlands. Her daughter currently lives in Louisville as well as Dianna's sisters, many nieces and nephews. As the Louisville headlines were screaming about the problems with child abuse, her daughter called and said, "Mom, they need you down here." That was all that it took, and she started packing.
