Jay Crocker, a 2004 graduate from the MAT Secondary Education program, has been selected to receive the 2009 Milken National Educator Award. Crocker is an English teacher at Ballard High School and was surprised with the announcement at a morning assembly session at the school. The CEHD's Early Learning Campus recently marked its first anniversary with a special celebration that featured the Bass family, balloons and birthday cake. The campus is at full capacity and growing.
