Terri Srinivasan

Theresa (Terri) Srinivasan is a parent of a young child living with Autism, and resides in Maysville, Kentucky. She helped create the Buffalo Trace Autism Support Group in the 5-county area of Buffalo Trace Ad District. Terri works as a Family Liaison for Comprehend, Inc., in Maysville, and works primarily with families with individuals living on the Autism Spectrum. She remains passionate about raising awareness in the Buffalo Trace area.

Terri has volunteered in the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs in Maysville since 1999, and now is serving her District as Governor. She was named 2004’s Kentucky Federation of Woman’s Club’s Outstanding Clubwoman of the Year, and was the 2010 GFWC Leadership, Education and Development Seminar candidate for Kentucky. She has served on the Kentucky Educational Television (KET)’s Friends’ Board since 2007, the Buffalo Trace Woman’s Crisis Center Advisory Committee since 1998, the Hospice of Hope Board of Directors since 2007, and the Maysville Initiatives (operates a no-charge children’s summer camp at the Housing Authority) Board of Directors since 2009. Terri is the founder and coordinator of the St. Patrick’s School’s Summer Enrichment Academy, an academic camp for 4th-8th graders that provides hands-on learning, started in 2005. Terri helped to convert a traditional preschool/kindergarten program in Maysville to a Montessori program in 2004, and served on the Board of Directors prior to and after the conversion of the program, since 1998. Terri has volunteered with the Bluegrass District Boys Scouts as a Den Leader since 2007.
