Carol Hatfield Estes has been with the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for 29 years She is the Branch Manager for Supported Employment Services. She has a strong belief in the employment capacity of all individuals with disabilities, especially those who have significant challenges, if they are provided with the right amount and kind of job supports. She has been instrumental in bringing the concept of "person-centered services" to Kentucky’s vocational programs. Carol resides in Warsaw, KY. She serves on the Kentucky Autism Training Center's Advisory Council and the Kentucky Mental Health Planning Council, and represents her agency on the HB 296 Commission on Services and Supports for People with ASD and HB 144 Commission on Services and Supports for People with Developmental Disabilities. She is also a founding member of KY APSE (Association for Persons in Supported Employment).
