Kristina Davis Christensen is the executive director of Friends School, a non-profit, non-sectarian, family cooperative school. Friends School is committed to providing an inclusive, challenging education to children of all abilities, including a large population of children on the autism spectrum. Kris earned her Master of Education in 2002 from the University of Louisville and has been with Friends School since that time. Prior to her career in education, Kris worked with children with special needs from a social service perspective - working in such programs as Healthy Families, Early Head Start, and the Lexington Spouse Abuse Center. Though this is her first year serving on the Kentucky Autism Training Center's Board, she is excited about what KATC has and continues to bring to the Louisville Community and beyond.
