General Information

What Is It?

An enrichment program focusing on mathematics, writing and technology. Students will work in teams with teachers to create pieces of writing for an institute portfolio. Students will also participate in other writing, mathematics and technology learning activities and enjoy snacks and recreation with other students.

Time?

9:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Parents must provide own transportation.

Cost?

$90.00 per student. Students will need to bring sack lunches. A limited number of scholarships will be available; scholarship applicants must provide proof of assistance such as income tax return, AFDC, food stamp card, or supplemental security income card.

Who Is It For?

Students entering grades 4-8. Limited to the first 65 students who apply.

Why Have A Workshop On Writing, Mathematics, And Technology?

To provide enrichment and in-depth knowledge to students with an interest in mathematics, science, social studies, writing, and technology. The institute focuses on higher level thinking skills.
