Dr. Han is an assistant professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Louisville. Her specialization area is early childhood education and early childhood teacher education. For the past 15 years, she has been working with young children as well as pre-service and in-service early childhood teachers both in South Korea and the United States. Dr. Han’s recent research focus is on young children’s development of social competencies and teachers’ role in supporting children’s social development. She is also very interested in enhancing teachers’ multicultural competencies through understanding their identities and beliefs.
