Collaborative Teacher Training in Reading/Language Arts
The Collaborative Teacher Training in Reading/Language Arts (CTTRLA) is an 18-month project and partnership between the College of Education and Human Development and Bellarmine University. The project will provide professional development in the new common core standards to general and specific middle grades educators, instructional coaches, and other state and district personnel in reading/language arts.
Project Goals
- Increase teacher knowledge of the common core standards;
- Increase teacher use of curriculum-based measures;
- Increase teacher knowledge of research-based strategies;
- Increase teacher use of research-based strategies;
- Increase student knowledge and use of research-based strategies.
