GAPSA: Graduate Association of Professionals in Student Affairs

About GAPSA

GAPSA is a Recognized Student Organization (RSO) at the University of Louisville. We are committed to bridging the gap between graduate education and professional practice.

GAPSA is the student organization for Masters and Doctoral students in the College Student Personnel (CSP) and Higher Education Administration programs at the University of Louisville. Undergraduate students, faculty, and interested student affairs administrators from the University of Louisville and other area colleges and universities may also affiliate with the organization, although they cannot hold office or be voting members.

GAPSA was chartered in the spring of 1991 by a group of CSP students. It was originally envisioned as a way to bring CSP students together for networking, educational and developmental programming and social activities. GAPSA also provides services to members by providing informational resources, and also serves as an outlet to voice student concerns and suggestions.
