  • Cunningham, N.J., Kolander, C., & Hardesty, P. H. (1990). Project SUN: Schools united with neighborhoods for early prevention. $337,752, U.S. Department of Education. Goal: To create community school teams within 10 elementary school for the purpose of coordinating drug use prevention efforts.
  • Cunningham, N.J., Cunningham, G. K., & Hardesty, P.H. Bridge to Success: A model program for a drug-free transition from elementary to middle school. A continuation grant for an ongoing research project, U. S. Department of Education. Goal: To create an elementary to middle school transition program aimed at reducing drug use in the middle school.
