One of the purposes of the civics teacher network is to share social studies and government and civics curriculum, instruction, and assessment resources with Kentucky educators.  Additionally, the online network should provide teachers the opportunity to "chat" with one another to share and discuss issues related to social studies education.

The civics network utilizes, Blackboard, an online content mangament system, to provide a secure environment for Kentucky educators where they can access and share materials and resources and "chat" with one another.  Access to Blackboard if free for Kentucky educators and requires having a username and password to access.
