Video Teleconferencing
The Kentucky TeleLinking Network (KTLN) utilizes digital interactive technology to transmit video and audio between two or more distant locations. Conferences can be distributed among the Belknap, Shelby and Health Sciences campuses, as well as locations elsewhere in the world. Arrangements for the use of the KTLN facilities must be made through this web-based form.
Hours of Operation
The KTLN room is reserved on first-come, first-served basis as the schedule permits. The KTLN room may be scheduled only during regular ERTC hours. The room may not be scheduled for any other times. We will not remain open past our scheduled hours.
The charges are as follows:
$200 per class credit hour per semester and $50 per hour for other non-credit courses.
Also, please inform as to how the organizations transfers the funds to our department/account.
Please note that the ERTC adjusts its hours according to the University of Louisville's Holiday Calendar and Academic Calendar. If you are scheduling a weekly class meeting, please consult with us regarding Holiday or Spring Break hours.
Staffing
The ERTC does not staff the KTLN room during a session. Our staff will turn on the equipment before the beginning of a transmission.
Parking
Parking at the University is limited and mostly by permit only. There are parking meters on the north side of Cardinal Boulevard. Located close to the College of Education and Human Development is the North Information Center, which has a visitor lot with limited spaces. Arrangements for visitor parking and parking for special events are explained on this University web page.
If you have any further questions please contact the ERTC at 852-6437 or ertcres @ louisville.edu.
