While adhering to basic precepts in place since 1985, the KTIP process and training have been altered to accommodate mandated changes effective with school year 2008-09. The KTIP Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA) is a set of ten teaching tasks designed to provide opportunity for demonstration of Kentucky’s Teaching Standards. All resource teachers, administrators, and university-appointed teacher educators will need to be retrained in the revised process unless trained previously in 2008.
