Student Teaching and Clinical Practice Application
Application for Spring 2009
Prior to completing the student teaching application, all students shall have been admitted to the Teacher Education Program, maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, a suggested major (courses in the area of your concentration) GPA of 2.5, and suggested professional (education courses) GPA of 3.0 and be currently enrolled in the required professional courses as identified on his/her individual program sheets.
You must complete the following forms which are included in the Student Teaching Application

- The remaining three components of the Student Teaching Application must be completed and returned to the Office of Educator Development and Clinical Practice by November 15, 2008

When your placement is finalized, all candidates must complete a fingerprint criminal records check for the district of placement. Fees, locations and contact information for fingerprinted criminal records vary by district. Updated information will be available soon.
All candidates must attend an Orientation to Student Teaching.
All candidates must have submitted a satisfactory mid-point portfolio before student teaching.
The Orientation for all Candidates applying to student teach Spring 2009 will be on December 10, 2008.
