Conduct

The Dean of Students Office (DOS) meets with students to assess situations of possible non-academic misconduct as described in the Code of Student Conduct. DOS offers education, challenge, and support to students who may be struggling with behavioral issues in order to protect and preserve a quality educational environment in the campus community. Academic related misconduct of students is not covered by the Code of Student Conduct, but rather falls within the jurisdiction of the individual academic units of the University. The University's Code of Student Conduct is set forth in writing and electronically in order to give students general notice of non-academic prohibited conduct. The Code should be read broadly and is not designed to define non-academic misconduct in exhaustive terms.
Recognized Student Organization (RSO) Code of Conduct
The Recognized Student Organization Code of Conduct is the University’s policy regarding discipline of student organizations. The primary purpose of the Organization Code is to provide a quality educational environment for students and student organizations and to notify student organizations of the University’s expectations regarding behavior. The Code should be read broadly and is not designed to define misconduct in exhaustive terms.
