How to Create/Modify Group Access for a Unit Home Page

When you initially request a unit home page an access group is created. Groups are created so that several people from the department will all have the ability to access and edit those files in the directory. Groups are created based on the directory name. Group names should not exceed 6 in length. (ex. w-lib) All of the people in the group must have an Athena account. These can be obtained by following the Athena account request instructions.

To create or modify an access group for your department on Athena, fill out the Create or Modify Group Access Page Request form.
