Themed “Minorities in Higher Education,” the event will focus on African American students in higher education. The featured keynote speaker will be Dr. Ivory Toldson, an Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology at Howard University and Senior Research Analyst for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. He will focus on the challenges and trends in his speech, “Show Me the Numbers: Realities and Myths about Educating Black Students.”
