- The GE Foundation is bringing Stephen Peters, national motivational speaker, educator and author to Louisville next month. Thanks to the efforts of Rae Helton in the Office of Community Engagement, Mr. Peters will be on campus as a tie-in to the 55K/15K efforts. Stephen is founder of "The Gentlemen's Club and "The Ladies Club," programs that enhance and encourage self-esteem and pride in African American middle school boys and girls. Rae has arranged for Mr. Peters to speak to faculty and staff.
