Who is eligible?
Students who have earned at least 12 credit hours at the University of Louisville. Both graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to apply. Undergraduate applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 as of the end of Fall 2011; Graduate students must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Students must also be registered for at least 6 credit hours at UofL for Fall 2012. Financial need may be taken into consideration for final determination of awards.
What are the award amounts?
There are FOUR awards of $1,000 each.

THREE (3) $1,000 awards for Undergraduate Students

ONE (1) $1,000 award for a Graduate Student in memory of Kimberly McKnight (Kimberly was an UofL Alumna and former AAAC Board member)
How do I apply?
Submit in ONE COMPLETE Package*

Copies of college transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable).

Typed essay highlighting the reasons why you should receive the award. Insure that you include in the essay your academic and career goals.

Two (2) letters of recommendation from professional contacts Insure to include the letters of recommendation in your application packet.
Application Deadline
ALL of the FOUR items listed above must be received by Friday, May 18, 2012. Incomplete packets or packets received after Friday, May 18th will not be accepted.
