2007-2008 DISABILITY AWARENESS AWARD NOMINATION INFORMATION

Nominations will be accepted July 1, 2007 through March 14, 2008

The Disability Resource Center would like to announce the 13th Annual Disability Awareness Awards Luncheon to be held in April 10, 2008, at the University Club. This awards ceremony will recognize those outstanding instructors, students, alumni, staff and others who demonstrate an interest in making programs, services and activities at the University of Louisville accessible to all.

We need your help in nominating those individuals who have displayed a true commitment to equal opportunity and access for individuals with disabilities on our campus and in the community. Please go to our Web Site and fill out a Nomination Form or stop by to pick up or fill out a paper form in the DRC, 120 Robbins Hall.

In addition to the above, we also give a monetary award to a student with a disability who has displayed outstanding academic achievement & personal growth. Please fill out an application and let us know about YOU! Outstanding Academic Achievement & Personal Growth Award Application .

Luncheon Tickets: Award Recipients and their nominators will receive complementary tickets for the Luncheon. For others wishing to attend, tickets must be purchased from the DRC in advance.
