Two successful PhD defenses by OIID student researchers

The OIID department is proud to celebrate two PhD candidates to successfully defended their theses in July.

Jae Lee, DMD/PhD candidate, defended his thesis research: “Characterization of Porphyromonas gingivalis Mfa1 fimbriae,” Monday, July 31st, 2017.

Himabindu Gogeneni,  PhD candidate for Interdisciplinary Studies, defended her thesis research: “Porphyromonas gingivalis infection in gestational diabetes mellitus and survival in tobacco smokers,” on Friday, July 28th, 2017.
