Application

Application process

Applicants must hold the D.M.D./D.D.S. degree or the equivalent from an accredited dental school.  To apply to the postdoctoral pediatric dentistry program, please complete an application via the PASS website. We prefer that applications be submitted by October 1 for admission the following July 1.  No additional information is required.  An application fee must be submitted.

All applicants

A non-refundable application fee of $25 must be paid.  Make the check or money order payable to the Postdoctoral Pediatric Dentistry Program, University of Louisville School of Dentistry.

Foreign applicants

  • All applicants must have a D.M.D. or D.D.S. equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Official report of TOEFL examination results.
  • All applicants for whom English is a second language must take the TOEFL examination to provide evidence of proficiency in written and spoken English.  Applications for the examination may be obtained from Test of English as a Foreign Language, Education Testing Service, Princeton, NJ 08540

Tuition and fees

No tuition is charged for the certificate program.

Tuition for 2006-07 for the master’s degree is $11,787 for in-state and $22,348 for out-of-state students.  A $100 non-refundable fee is required upon acceptance into the program. This fee will be applied to tuition upon matriculation.

For either the certificate or the master’s degree programs there is a $5,000 program fee assessed by the School of Dentistry.

Stipend

There is a stipend paid for the 24 months of the certificate program. The stipend for the school year 2007-2008 will be $25,000.
