What is the Lower Division Program?

New students are admitted to the dental hygiene program's Lower Division, a program of study designed to take two years of full-time study, and fulfill all prerequisite requirements.

U of L lower division Dental Hygiene freshmen students:

An applicant must:

• Submit a U of L undergraduate application and specify Dental Hygiene Lower Division as their desired major
• Submit the $40 application fee
• Submit official high school transcripts
• Submit ACT/SAT scores
