Application for admission is completed through the American Association of Dental Schools Application Service (AADSAS). Application packets may be submitted online as early as May 15, but no later than January 1 and should be directed to:

Preference is given to qualified applicants who apply early. Therefore, applying early is strongly encouraged.

The Committee on Admissions will require the following materials to consider applications complete and ready for committee review.

Submit to AADSAS:

• Pre-dental committee report or university pre-professional evaluation. If that is unavailable, three letters of recommendation (2 from science professors and a third from a personal reference). An optional form may be used for letters of recommendation.
  
• Official DAT scores from the American Dental Association. Do not delay processing an application because you have not taken the DAT. DAT reports can be matched to your application later.

Submit to ULSD upon request:

• Application fee ($50.00 made payable to UofL) -Do not send this until you receive an email request for payment

After your file is complete (all request credentials are received), it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Those applicants selected for an interview will be contacted by email regarding interview date and time.
