  • Course Objectives: At the conclusion of this course, the participant should understand:
  • The most common medications taken by our patients
  • Side effects of common medications, including those affecting the oral cavity
  • Interactions of drugs prescribed by dentists with other medications
  • Pharmacotherapeutics for common oral conditions such as recurrent herpes labialis, aphthous ulcers, denture stomatitis, etc.
  • Considerations for women and children in prescribing medications.
