- Course Objectives: At the conclusion of this course, the participant should understand:
- The most common medications taken by our patients
- Side effects of common medications, including those affecting the oral cavity
- Interactions of drugs prescribed by dentists with other medications
- Pharmacotherapeutics for common oral conditions such as recurrent herpes labialis, aphthous ulcers, denture stomatitis, etc.
- Considerations for women and children in prescribing medications.
