Introduction to Photoshop Elements
Modeled after the professional-grade, industry standard Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements provides key tools for enhancing, organizing, and sharing photographs. During this introductory, hands-on class, you'll learn to create professional-looking images using Photoshop Elements. Class covers Elements' three basic workspaces: the Welcome screen, the Organizer, and the Editor, which is used for common tasks such as cropping, straightening, correcting brightness and contrast, and removing red-eye. This popular class explores the intriguing world of the paranormal, taking a glimpse into the age of spiritualism, addressing theories on ghosts and haunting, and offering techniques for researching and investigating paranormal activity. Jewelry Basics: Beads and Beyond
Create one-of-a-kind jewelry with beads, wire and metal. Work with wire to create a variety of chains and incorporate beads in necklaces, earrings and/or bracelets. Use a jeweler's saw to cut unique shapes from sheet metal to use as pendants for necklaces, earrings and as links in a chain. Combine store-bought, handmade and/or found object components to create jewelry that will be the envy of all your friends. Wire, sheet metal, an assortment of beads, findings and tools will be provided, although students are welcome to bring additional items to personalize their jewelry. Class size is limited to 12.

Intermediate Metalsmithing Techniques for Jewelry
Construct a bezel-set cabochon (non-faceted stone) sterling silver ring using basic soldering techniques. Mosaic Mirrors
Learn to design and construct a 12" x 12" mosaic framed mirror from glass tiles and stained glass. We will affix items to plywood with tile adhesive, then grout and seal the finished piece. Bring in relatively flat broken dishes, beach glass, and found items if you'd like to add your own flair! These make wonderful gifts – if you can part with them! Class size limited to 10.

Henna Body Adornment
Henna (Mehndi) body art is a safe, natural, and temporary form of adornment, originating in India, North Africa and the Middle East. In this class we will explore the history and cultural traditions behind this 5,000-year-old art form. Learn how to make and apply henna. Henna supplies and a printed instruction sheet will be provided. If desired, the instructor will apply a small henna design on each attendee.
