ABOUT THE EAP

The Cultural Center Early Arrival Program (EAP) was created to help assist under-represented students participating in the Cultural Center retention programs with their transition from high school to college. Through an enriching series of discussions, events and networking activities the program aims to teach students to be an active and engaged student at the University of Louisville.

 

African American Male Initiative: This track will aid scholars AAMI participants in their successful transition to college life at the University of Louisville. Contact: Joey Wilkerson  502-852-4770

Excel Program: This track is designed to provide intrusive advising support and connect students to critical academic and campus resources which may encourage their success at the university. The overall goal of the program is to improve students’ academic performance and retention. Contact: Jackie Sidney 502-852-7267

Hispanic/Latino Initiative:This track will help Hispanic/Latino students to gain awareness of and develop skills necessary to ensure academic success through intentional connections with current students, faculty, and staff. Contact: Laine Lopez 502-852-0230

Woodford R. Porter Scholar: This track will help scholars gain significant awareness of and develop the skills necessary to ensure academic success through intentional connections with university faculty, staff, students and special community guests.Contact: Leondra Gully 502-852-0231
