The Goals of the CTSI are to expand and fully integrate the “academic home” for clinical and translational research, create a multidisciplinary program in research education and career development, utilizing advanced degrees that train the next generation of clinical and translational investigators, provide the necessary clinical research resources and translational technologies including support in areas such as bioinformatics, biostatistics and ethics to create novel and clinical and translational research, and to engage the unique and highly diverse population of Kentucky in research, and translate our research findings into the community to improve the overall health and well being of its populace.
