The program and local-organizing committees are pleased to announce the 2nd Hybrid-Isentropic Modeling Workshop, to be held at the University of Louisville, April 18-20, 2002.
The growing interest of the geophysical fluid dynamics community in developing and using hybrid-isentropic models for weather and climate studies and the success of the first workshop in Madison, WI, not to mention the springtime setting in Kentucky, bode well for the 2nd Workshop.
