Drug Abuse

Alcohol and other drug problems come in many different forms. Dependency (physical or psychological) on alcohol and/or other drugs is a progressive, potentially fatal, illness. However, someone does not have to be chemically dependent to have alcohol or other drug problems.
These are just some of the problems that can occur if someone abuses alcohol and/or other drugs: poor work or academic performance, legal problems, physical altercations, family/relationship difficulties, increased use of alcohol and/or other drugs, etc.
