- Clarify the Situation for Yourself.
"What am I upset about?"
"What do I want?"
"Is this really something to be angry about?"
"What can I do about the situation?" - Avoid Negative Self-Talk.
"People shouldn't treat me this way!"
"I hate this!" - Increase Positive Self-Talk.
"It's okay; sometimes, people make mistakes."
