The Fourth Annual Kentucky Engagement Conference titled "Engaged to be Educated" will focus on students.  The conference hopes to provide participants with tools and ideas they can take back to their campus and classrooms to encourage civic learning and community engagement.

Caryn McTighe Musil, Senior Vice President at the American Association of Colleges and Universities, is the speaker for the opening plenary.  You can find her bio on the AAC&U web site.  The luncheon plenary speaker is Terry Hartle, Senior Vice President, Division of Government and Public Affairs at the American Council on Education.  You can find his bio on ACE's web site.  The final plenary - which is the last session of the day - will include Paul Patton, former Governor of Kentucky and current chair of CPE, and Robert King, President of CPE.

UofL has paid for 20 individuals to attend the conference.  These 20 slots will be given on a first come, first serve basis.  If you are interested in attending this conference, please contact Dr. Henry Cunningham in the Office of Community Engagement.
