GO College Louisville

GO College Louisville is part of a national initiative to provide students with the necessary tools to prepare for and succeed in college. The initiative is a partnership among Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS), University of Louisville, Kentucky State University, 55,000 degrees, GE Foundation, US Department of Education, and Council for Opportunity in Education.
UofL partners with Kentucky State University and Jefferson County Public Schools to address student challenges at Fern Creek, Moore High School, and The Academy @ Shawnee. College coaches are placed in the schools to work with cohorts of students helping them to prepare for college. In addition, the program sponsors a two-week residential summer program on University of Louisville campus for incoming freshmen enrolling at The Academy @ Shawnee and Moore Traditional School. Interested freshmen may contact a college coach to apply for the program.
