Cards Come Together

A week of service to improve the campus and community

October 22 - 25, 2019

Service opportunities include:

  • UofL Community Composting Project
  • Community clean-up in Old Louisville
  • New Directions Beautification project in the Highlands
  • Assisting with the Americana Community Center Fall Festival
In addition to service sites, there will also be daily donation drive opportunities to benefit various community partners.
  • Canned food drive to benefit Dare to Care
  • New twin size bedding and linens to benefit Volunteers of America Shelby Men's Recovery Program
  • Coats, hats, and gloves (all sizes) to benefit elementary, middle and high school students in JCPS schools
  • Hygiene products to benefit refugee families served by Catholic Charities of Louisville

**Participation is entirely voluntary.  This is not a work-related activity under the University's Workers' Compensation program. Staff can use Community Service Leave, but should obtain supervisor approval before registering to participate.
