Evaluation and Program Planning
In conjunction with the family, the interdisciplinary clinic-based evaluations identify the primary feeding

problems to allow for the development of appropriate therapeutic interventions.
These evaluations include:
- Review of family concerns and goals
- Diet inventory
- Review of medical, feeding and diet history
- Assessment of sensory/behavioral factors
- Oral mechanism exam
- Feeding observation assessment
- Family consultation to review evaluation findings and recommendations.
Therapeutic Intervention
Direct and consultative feeding therapy is available and provided by relevant team members as determined by the interdisciplinary evaluation. Active home programming is an intergal component of both models of intervention.
