Our clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive medical genetic consultation and services to patients and their families dealing with hereditary conditions and birth defects. Our team consists of medical geneticists, genetic counselors, metabolic nutritionists and a nurse coordinator for the newborn screening program.

- Genetic evaluations involve obtaining a detailed medical history, discussing the family history, and reviewing available medical records. If indicated, a careful physical exam is completed to assess for any features of a recognizable genetic syndrome. Based on the information gathered at the appointment, we provide the family with a differential diagnosis, information about the available testing, management and preventive care. We arrange for follow-up and referrals if necessary. In addition, genetic counseling provides prognostic information, recurrence risks, and support resources.
